Clothing Warehouse (volunteers@welcomewarehouse.org)
Volunteers generally work 1-2 hours per week staffing the Saturday morning operations at the warehouse from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Duties often include helping families select clothing, accepting donations, sorting and organizing donated items.

Events Volunteers (executivedirector@welcomewarehouse.org)                                      Throughout the year, Welcome Warehouse sponsors a variety of fundraiser events throughout the community. Many times additional hands are needed to organize, plan and prepare for these events. These events are a good way to meet community leaders and make new friends and commitments. Some events require more volunteers and more time to plan than others, so it is not possible to estimate the number of hours that may be spent, but all time is worthwhile and most volunteers have a lot of fun in the process. 

Furniture Match (furniture@welcomewarehouse.org)
Volunteers in the Furniture Match Program need to be able to lift heavy furniture, often times up and down stairways. Volunteers work with the coordinator to schedule pickup for donated items, and delivery for items being distributed. Sometimes we need additional vehicles, so if you have a truck, or have access to a truck, you would be a very welcome candidate! Furniture Matches are made throughout the week on an as needed basis, but usually no more than two hours per week are required.

Spanish Translators (executivedirector@welcomewarehouse.org)
Often times Welcome Warehouse needs help translating some of our documents into Spanish, as well as communicating with families that are being assisted. If you are fluent in Spanish and English, this may be an opportunity for you to help out in your community.

Board of Directors (executivedirector@welcomewarehouse.org)
Welcome Warehouse is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of community volunteers. To serve in this position, an individual must be regarded in high standing both in ethical and moral values as well as commit to monthly meetings and numerous events throughout the service time.
